Q-Codes
Q-Codes are three letter codes beginning with the letter Q.

They were originally used for Morse Code but have made their way into voice communications.

Typical examples will include:
  • “My QTH is Sydney” (QTH means location) “There is QRN affecting your signal” (there is storm static affecting your signal)
